The Ord Bend Park and Boat Launch Facility is on the west bank of the Sacramento River at river mile 184 near the community of Ord Bend.
The major access route to this facility is by Interstate 5 (I-5) to Willows in Glenn County. From I-5, head east ten miles on State Highway 162 to the community of Glenn, head north seven miles on State Highway 45 to the community of Ord Bend, turn east on County Road 32 and less than one mile you’re there. The entrance is located on the north side of the road at 8300 County Road 32.
The Ord Bend Park and Boat Launch Facility offers outstanding fishing for a variety of fish including salmon, steelhead, trout, shad, bass and catfish. The facility also offers great recreational uses for all boaters, upland waterfowl hunters, nature observers, and water sports enthusiasts. The facility provides ample parking, rest rooms, and lawn areas with nine picnic tables (some covered), four barbecue pits, and a baseball field. The park is a free day-use facility.
