Welcome to the Glenn County Air Pollution Control District

Administered with the Agricultural Department, our mission is to protect the public's health and the environment from the effects of air pollution, and allow for orderly industry production.

This web site is a resource for businesses and the general community. The Air Pollution Control District was established in 1971 by the State Legislature which provided local air districts with the primary responsibility for the control of non-vehicular sources of air pollution.

Glenn County lies within the Northern Sacramento Valley Air Basin along the I-5 corridor.
