PEOPLE v. STUDYVIN, LAWRENCE- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 666.5, Vehicle Theft with a Prior conviction of Vehicle Theft. Defendant was sentenced to 7 years and 4 months in prison. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Orland Police Department Officers Mills and Ayres.

PEOPLE v. RIVERA, NORBERTO- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Health and Safety Code section 11378, Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, and the special allegation of Health and Safety Code section 11370.2(c), Prior conviction of Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the ninth time for a prior conviction of Health and Safety Code section 11379, Transportation of a Controlled Substance for sale. Defendant was sentenced to 6 years in prison. The cases were prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Gibbs and Detective Blair.

PEOPLE v. SKESLIEN, ASHLEY- Defendant was previously convicted of two felony violations of Health and Safety Code section 11379(a), Transportation of a Controlled Substance for Sales, a felony violation of Penal Code section 12022.1, Felony Committed while on Bail , and a misdemeanor violation of Health and Safety Code section 11550(a), Under the Influence of Controlled Substance. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the seventh time and probation was terminated. Defendant was sentenced to 4 years in prison. The case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Orland Police Department Sergeant Johnson and Officer Ayres, Glenn County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Gibbs, and Glenn County Probation Officer Tompkins.

PEOPLE v. SANCHEZ, JESENIA- Defendant was convicted of a felony violations of Penal Code section 245(a)(1), Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Penal Code section 243.1, Battery on Custodial Officer. Defendant was sentenced to 1 year and 175 days in county jail, 5 years formal probation, and Drug Court. The cases were prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Bauer and Glenn County Correctional Deputies Callas and Mencia.

PEOPLE v. MEDINA, ZULEMA- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 245(a)(1), Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Defendant was found in violation of probation. Defendant was sentenced to 240 days in county jail, Drug Court, and probation was reinstated. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Probation Officer Moize.

PEOPLE v. DONALDSON, JASON- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Vehicle Code section 2800.2, Evasion. Defendant was sentenced to 180 days in county jail, Drug Court, and 3 years of formal probation. The case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Orland Police Department Sergeant Johnson.

PEOPLE v. STINES, ROBERT- Defendant was convicted by jury of a misdemeanor violation of Vehicle Code section 23152(a), DUI, Vehicle Code section 23152(b), Driving with a BAC above 0.08%, and the special allegation Vehicle Code section 23578, Driving with a BAC above 0.15%. Defendant was sentenced to 180 days in county jail. The case was prosecuted by DDA Harbarger with assistance from California Highway Patrol Officer Regnani.
