The Orland-Artois Water District's all-mailed ballot election was held on August 29, 2023!
There were not enough candidates to hold an election for the following districts:
4-E Water District, Colusa Basin Drainage District, Glide Water District,
Kanawha Water District, Levee District #1, Levee District #2, Levee District #3,
Princeton-Codora-Glenn Irrigation District, Provident Irrigation District,
and Stony Creek Water District.
Appointments will be made pursuant to election code section 10515.

Voters may return their ballots by mail, in our secure drop box, or in person to the Elections Office. In addition, the elections office will be open for replacement ballots and additional services.

Candidate Filing Period Opens May 8, 2023 for Landowner Districts. Landowner Districts are scheduled to hold Governing Board Elections on August 29, 2023. The filing period opens Monday, May 8th and closes on Friday, June 2nd at 5:00 p.m. The deadline to file extends to June 7th if an incumbent officeholder does not file. Candidacy papers will be available at the District Offices.
GLENN COUNTY, CA - Due to Assembly Bill 37, which made permanent the requirement that counties mail ballots to every active registered voter for all elections, all voters will receive a Vote By Mail ballot for the November 8, 2022 General Election. Voters may return their ballots by mail, in a secure drop box, or to a Polling Place on election day. In addition, the elections office will be open for early voting, issuing replacement ballots, and additional services. If you go to a Polling Place, you may have to wait in line.
