Chrome Fire Evacuations
Glenn County, CA - Advisory evacuations are in effect for the Chrome Fire in western Glenn County. Advisory evacuation warning area includes Stony Gorge east to the community of Elk Creek. This includes area of County Road 309 south to County Road 308 and east of Stony Gorge to 2 miles west of Stony Creek.
PEOPLE v. ROBERSON, KENNETH WAYNE - Defendant was convicted by a jury trial of a felony violation of Penal Code section 30305(a)(1), Felon in Possession of Ammunition with Special Allegations in violation of Penal Code section 667(c)&(e) and 1170.12 for 5 Prior Felony Convictions as Strike Priors. Defendant was sentenced to 6 years in state prison. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Willows Police Department Sergeant Stover.
PEOPLE v. JIMENEZ, MARIA- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Welfare and Institutions Code section 10980(c)(2), Welfare Fraud and a felony violation of Penal Code Section 118(a), Perjury. Defendant was sentenced to 240 days in county jail and formal probation for 5 years. The Defendant was ordered to pay the full restitution with her co-Defendant Reyes Bernal-Moreno in the amount of $23,566. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Health and Human Services Agency Special Investigations Unit Investigator Bouldin.
PEOPLE v. SUSOEFF, MARK- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Vehicle Code section 2800.2, Evading a Peace Officer and a violation of Penal Code Section 667.5(b), Prior Prison Commitment. Defendant was sentenced to 4 years in state prison. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Ayres and Thompson.

GLENN COUNTY JOINS NATIONAL, STATEWIDE FIGHT AGAINST OPIOID EPIDEMIC
Pursuant to Government Code 65858(d) a report shall be issued prior to the extension or expiration of the interim (urgency) ordinance describing the measures taken to alleviate the condition which led to the adoption of the ordinance. The below report is a summary of actions taken by County staff since the adoption of the Marijuana Urgency Ordinance #1261.
PEOPLE V. MADDEN, KYLE- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 289(d), Sexual Penetration by Foreign Object of an Unconscious Person. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 4th time. Defendant was sentenced to 6 years in state prison and probation was terminated. The case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Orland Police Department Officer Roenspie and Glenn County Probation Department Officer Van Eck.
