PEOPLE V. VESSELS, JAMES - Defendant was convicted of felony violations of Penal Code sections 530.5(c)(3), Identify Theft of More Than 10 persons with a Special Allegation Enhancement 12022.1(b)(1), Committing a Felony while Out on Bail, 1320(b), Failure to Appear for a Felony while on Own Recognizance, 4573.8, Possession of Alcohol in Jail, 594(a), Vandalism over $400, Health and Safety Code Section 11379(a), Possession of Controlled Substance for Sale, and misdemeanor violations of 148(a), Resist Obstruct Delay a Peace Officer and 530.5(c)(1), Identity Theft. Defendant was sentenced to 8 years prison, $1,455.18 Restitution, and 4 years of this sentence to be served on Mandatory Supervision. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann and Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputies Ayres, Sanchez, Martinez, Corbin, Barnes, Lemmon, Lopeteguy, Tuma, Thompson, and Sergeant Gibbs; CHP Officers Williams and Cushman; Glenn County Probation Department Officers Van Eck, and Edwards; and Willows Police Department Sergeant McIntyre and Chief Dahl.
PEOPLE V. MEDINA, MERANDA DAWN- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Health and Safety Code section 11378, Possession of Drugs for Sales. Defendant was sentenced to a split sentence of 1 year state prison and 3 years of Mandatory Supervision. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Sheldon.
PEOPLE V. HARRIS, KEITH- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code sections 245(c), Assault on a Peace Officer with a Deadly Weapon on Officers Carmon and Carrillo of the Orland Police Department with a Strike and 245(a)(1), Assault on a Deadly Weapon, to wit the Concrete Floor, with admission of a Strike Prior. Defendant was sentenced to 12 years state prison. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Orland Police Department Officers Carmon, Carrillo, Mills, Roenspie, and Sergeant Vlach, Glenn County Sheriff's Office Detective Felton and Deputies Draper, Lemmon, Kelso, Martinez, Corbin, and Jacinto.
PEOPLE V. MILLER, JESSE- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code sections 594(b)(1), Vandalism Over $400 and 29805, Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Defendant was sentenced to 3 years 8 months state prison. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Department Deputies Snider, Corbin, Francis, Branson, Thompson, Ramirez, and Ayres.

MCMILLEN, RYAN- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 245(a)(1), Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Penal Code section 667.5(b), Prior Prison Term, and Strike Prior. Defendant was previously convicted of felony violations of Penal Code section 666.5/10851(a), Vehicle Theft with a Prior Vehicle Theft, Penal Code section 496(a), Receiving Stolen Property over $950, Penal Code section 594(b)(1), Vandalism with Damage over $400, and Penal Code section 667.5(b), Prior Prison Term. Defendant was resentenced to 7 years in state prison. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Detectives Knight and Blair, Deputies Kelso, Martinez, Corbin, Jacinto, Lorenzo and Thompson, and Sgt. Holley and Orland Police Department Officers Branson and Roenspie.
PEOPLE V. PERALTA, MIGUEL- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 422, Criminal Threats. Defendant was previously convicted in Tehama County for felonies committed against the same victim in violation of Penal Code sections 245(a)(1), Assault with a Deadly Weapon, 273.5(a), Corporal Injury to the Mother of his Child, 422(a), Criminal Threats, 236, False Imprisonment, and 136.1(a)(1), Prevent or Dissuade a Witness from Testifying. Defendant is currently serving 12 years state prison. Defendant was resentenced to 12 years 8 months state prison.
PEOPLE V. BAILEY, BRANDON- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 211, Second Degree Robbery of CVS with a special allegation of 667(c)&(e)(1) and 1170.12, Prior Strike. Defendant was sentenced to 6 years state prison and ordered to pay $7,306.74 restitution. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Orland Police Department Officers Roenspie, Carmon, and Sgt. Vlach and Glenn County Sheriff's Department Deputies Zarate, Barnes, and Corbin.
PEOPLE V. JEFFERSON, ALEXANDER- Defendant was convicted of felony violations of Penal Code sections 243(d), Battery with Serious Bodily Injury and 422(a), Criminal Threats with special allegation 12022(b)(1), Use of a Weapon, an Ice Pick. Defendant was also on parole at the time of this conduct on two separate victims. Defendant was sentenced to 10 years 4 months in state prison.
PEOPLE V. SOTELLO, JULIO- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 243.1, Battery on a Custodial Officer. Defendant was sentenced to 521 days jail and 3 years of court probation. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputies Snyder and Corbin.
PEOPLE V. SUMAHIT, NICOBI- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code 459, 1st Degree Burglary, Person Present under 667.5(c)(21) and admitted the special allegation 12022.7(c), Inflicting Great Bodily Injury to a Victim over 70 yrs old, the victim was 84 yrs old in this case. Defendant was sentenced to 11 years state prison.
PEOPLE V. DIXON, DAVID- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Vehicle Code section 2800.2, Evading A Peace Officer. Defendant was sentenced to 2 years in state prison. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from GCSO Deputies Shelton and Zarate.
PEOPLE V. MATEO, MICHAEL- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 4573.6(a), Possession of Methamphetamine in Prison. Defendant was sentenced to 2 years state prison. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Valley View Prison Camp Lieutenant Ingwerson and Officer Pine.
PEOPLE V. KNECHT, GABRIEL- Defendant, a 21-year-old from Hamilton City, was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 187(a), 1st Degree Murder that was willful, deliberate, and premeditated. The stipulated facts were as follows: On March 16, 2018, Defendant Gabriel Knecht and 2 other defendants went to the home of Donald Zucker. While at the home of Donald Zucker, Defendant Gabriel Knecht shot and killed Mr. Zucker. Defendant was sentenced to 25 years to life with lifetime parole. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Detectives Blair and Knight.
