PEOPLE V. MANUEL WILLIAM MORA - Defendant was convicted felony violations of Penal Code sections 261.5, Statutory Rape of a Minor, 246.3, Negligent Discharge of a Firearm, and 1320.5, Failure to Appear in Court on a Felony Case. Defendant was sentenced to 4 years 4 months state prison. This case was prosecuted by ADA Neumann with assistance from Orland Police Department Sgt. Johnson.
Glenn County will be hosting a series of bottled water distribution events for residents impacted by dry wells resulting from the current drought. The bottled water was donated by Amazon to Glenn County with the assistance of Assemblyman James Gallagher. The County of Glenn is grateful for the partnership with Assemblyman Gallagher’s Office and Amazon.

THOMAS MICHAEL BUTLER - Defendant was convicted of misdemeanor violations of Penal Code section 273.5, Corporal Injury to his Girlfriend, 488, Petty Theft, and Health and Safety Code section 11364(a), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Defendant's probation on 2 other cases was terminated. Defendant was sentenced to 694 days jail.This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Orland Police Department Sergeants Cessna and Johnson and Officers Andrade and Roenspie, and Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Huichapan.
