PEOPLE V. KNECHT, GABRIEL- Defendant, a 21-year-old from Hamilton City, was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 187(a), 1st Degree Murder that was willful, deliberate, and premeditated. The stipulated facts were as follows: On March 16, 2018, Defendant Gabriel Knecht and 2 other defendants went to the home of Donald Zucker. While at the home of Donald Zucker, Defendant Gabriel Knecht shot and killed Mr. Zucker. Defendant was sentenced to 25 years to life with lifetime parole. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Detectives Blair and Knight.

PEOPLE V. KING. SOMA- Defendant was convicted of misdemeanor violations of Vehicle Code sections 2800.2(a), Evading a Peace Officer and 14601.3(e)(2), Habitual Traffic Offender Driving without a License without Prior. Defendant was previous convicted of felony violations of Penal Code section 245(a)(4), Assault Likely to Cause Great Bodily Injury, 496(a), Receiving Stolen Property Over $950, and misdemeanor Vehicle Code section 14601.3(a), Habitual Traffic Offender. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 1st time. Defendant was sentenced to 5 years 39 days state prison and probation was terminated in all cases. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Department Deputies McIntyre, Barnes, and Sergeant Gibbs; Orland Police Department Officer Carmon, K9 Ruger, and Sergeants Johnson and Vlach.

PEOPLE V. MARKOE, KORINNA- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Health and Safety code 11378, Possession of 19.8 grams of Methamphetamine for Sale and 2 felony violations of Penal Code section 1320.5, Failure to Appear while on Bail. Defendant was sentenced to 3 years state prison. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Detective Blair and GLINTF

PEOPLE V. TARESH, ROBERT- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 530.5(a), Identity Theft over $950 and a Prior Strike conviction. Defendant was sentenced to 2 years 8 months state prison and ordered to pay $2,013.61 in restitution. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy McIntyre. 

PEOPLE V. MORRISON, JOHNNY- Defendant was found in violation of probation in 6 different misdemeanor cases. Defendant was sentenced to 388 days jail and probation was terminated in 4 cases and reinstated in 2 cases. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Officer Permann.

PEOPLE V. MILKIN, MAKSIM- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 496d(a), Receiving a Stolen Vehicle. Defendant was sentenced to 364 days jail and 3 years formal probation. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from California Highway Patrol Officer Henriques

PEOPLE v. TALMADGE, JOHN  Defendant was previoulsy convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 245(a)(1), Assault with a Deadly Weapon to wit, a Vehicle, Special Allegation 12022.7,  Causing Great Bodily Injury During the Commission of a Felony, and a felony violation of Vehicle Code section 2800.2, Evading a Peace Officer. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 1st time. Defendant was sentenced to 360 days in jail, drug court, and 5 years formal probation. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Department Deputies Rasmussen and Ayres and Glenn County Probation Department Officer Permann.

PEOPLE V. GUTIERREZ, RAMIRO- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 69, Resisting a Peace Officer with Force or Violence. The Defendant was previously convicted on a felony violation of Penal Code section 1320(b), Failure to Appear while on Own Recognizance and misdemeanor Health and Safety Code section 11364(a), Possession of a Methamphetamine Pipe. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 2nd time. Defendant was sentenced to 270 days jail, 3 years formal probation, and drug court. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Ramirez. 

PEOPLE V. NUNEZ, ANTHONY- Defendant was previously convicted of a misdemeanor violation of Penal Code 243(e)(1), Domestic Battery. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 6th time. Defendant was sentenced to 270 days jail and probation was terminated. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Probation Department Officer Ortiz.

PEOPLE V. TOBON, DENISE- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 4573(a), Bringing Methamphetamine into Jail. Defendant was sentenced to 180 days jail and 3 years formal probation. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Department Deputies Corbin and Cotten

PEOPLE V. GUINN, JEFFREY- Defendant was convicted of a misdemeanor violation of Vehicle Code 23152(b), DUI with BAC Over 0.08% with 2 Prior DUIs. Defendant was sentenced to 120 days jail and 3 years of court probation. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Orland Police Department Sergeant Johnson.

PEOPLE V. STOLTENBERG, STEVEN- Defendant was convicted of a misdemeanor violation of Penal Code section 594, Vandalism. Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 22210, Possession of  Billy Club. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 2nd time. Defendant was sentenced to 120 days jail, 6 months residential treatment, and probation was reinstated.
