Enduro events scheduled on Grindstone Ranger District

WILLOWS, Calif.; October 17, 2016 – For Immediate Release – Several Enduro Events will take place in the Fouts Springs/Davis Flat Staging Area on the Grindstone Ranger District in October and November, 2016.

Enduro is an amateur motorcycle event conducted over paths, roads, trails and other natural terrain where speed is not a determining factor. These events are authorized under special use permits.

The Enduro courses occur on designated existing trails and roads that are flagged. These are not closed courses. All roads and trails used during the Enduro are open to the public and are subject to two-way traffic.

            The following events are scheduled:

Oct. 23 – Jack Hammer Timekeeping Enduro, Base of operations at Nail Track OHV Play Area, up to 400 participants;

Nov. 13 – Steam Donkey Brand Q Enduro, Base of operations at Nail Track OHV Play Area, up to 400 participants;

Nov. 20 – Bear Foot Family Enduro, Base of operations at Nail Track OHV Play Area, up to 400 participants.
