Candidate Filing Period Opens July 18^th for School Boards and Special Districts.

School Boards and Special Districts are scheduled to hold Governing Board Elections on November 8, 2022.  The filing period opens Monday, July 18 and closes on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.  The deadline extends to August 17 if an incumbent officeholder does not file.  Candidacy papers will be available in person at Glenn County Elections, 516 W Sycamore St, 2^nd Floor, Willows, or on our website at https://www.countyofglenn.net/dept/elections/candidate-filing. Candidates are encouraged to call our office at (530) 934-6414 to make an appointment to file their candidacy papers.
