IHSS Provider Training
CDSS Career Pathways
The In-Home Supportive Services Career Pathways program is an exciting optional program that provides training opportunities to enhance providers skills. IHSS and WPCS providers who have completed provider enrollment are eligible to register for the IHSS Career pathways training program and can be compensated for time spent attending and completing training courses.
Relias Training
The Glenn County Public Authority utilizes an online platform called Relias. This program offers many classes relevant to caregiving and aging services. Some topics offered by Relias are Nutrition, Mobility, First Aid, Dementia and much more. Certificates are available after completing the courses.
** Courses taken through this program are free, however, providers are not paid as they are through career pathways**

CPR First Aid
The Glenn County Public Authority will provide (2) CPR trainings annually, pursuant to the negotiated term in the Glenn County Public Authority and SEIU MOU. Spaces are limited for these trainings. Make sure to contact the Public Authority at 530-330-5453 to get on the list!
