PEOPLE V. WARREN, TIMOTHY- Defendant was previously convicted of felony violations of Health and Safety Code sections 11379, Sale of Methamphetamine, 11366(a), Maintaining a Place for Sale of Methamphetamine, Penal Code sections 459, Second Degree Burglary, misdemeanor 148(a)(1), Resist Obstruct Delay a Peace Officer, and found in violation of probation in 1 case. The Defendant was re-sentenced to 3 years 4 months in state prison. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart from Glenn County Probation Department Officers Perry, Teague, Moize, and Van Eck, Orland Police Department Officer Fullmore, Glenn County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Melgarejo, and GLINTF Agents Cushman and Tharp.

WYCKOFF, MICHAEL- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 245(a)(1), Assault Deadly Weapon and two violations of probation for previous convictions of felony Penal Code section 496(a), Receiving Stolen Property and misdemeanor violations of Health and Safety code sections 11377, Possession of Methamphetamine and 11350, Possession of Controlled Substances. Defendant was sentenced to 2 years state prison. This case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Jail Correctional Deputies Kelso, Martinez, and Jacinto, and Deputy Corbin.
PEOPLE V. MEDINA, JUAN ANTONIO- Defendant was convicted of felony violations of Health and Safety Code section 11378, Possession of Methamphetamine for Sales, Penal Code sections 12022.1, Committing a Felony while out on Felony Probation, 29800, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, 30305, Possession of Ammunition by a Felon, and 22210, Possession of a Billy Club. Defendant was sentenced to 5 years 4 months state prison. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputies Branson, Zarate, Barnes, Sheldon, McIntyre, Ayres and Sergeant McDonald, and Glenn County Narcotics Task Force Agents Perry and Cushman.
PEOPLE V. PORTER, FREDDIE- Defendant was previously convicted of misdemeanor violations of Penal Code sections 422, Criminal Threats, 273a(a), Child Endangerment, and 243(e)(1), Battery on Mother of Child. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 1st time. Defendant was sentenced to 110 days jail and probation was reinstated. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Thompson and Glenn County Probation Department Officer Garcia.
Today, Defendant Gabriel Knecht, 21-year-old from Hamilton City, plead GUILTY to a felony violation of Penal Code section 187(a), 1st Degree Murder that was willful, deliberate, and premeditated. The stipulated facts were as follows: On March 16, 2018, Defendant Gabriel Knecht and 2 other defendants went to the home of Donald Zucker. While at the home of Donald Zucker, Defendant Gabriel Knecht shot and killed Mr. Zucker. Defendant is looking at a sentence of 25 years to life with lifetime parole. The sentencing will be heard on August 24, 2018.
PEOPLE V. FUENTES, MARTIN- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code Section 487(a) Grand Theft over $950 and a new misdemeanor violation of Penal Code section 148(a)(1), Resist Obstruct Delay Police Officer. Defendant was found in violation of probation for the 3rd time. Defendant was sentenced to 3 years prison. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Glenn County Sheriff's Office Deputy Ramirez and Glenn County Probation Department Officer Moize.
PEOPLE V. LOKEY, JOHN- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 69, Resist a Peace Officer with Force/Violence. Defendant was sentenced to 3 years prison. This case was prosecuted by DA Coffey with assistance from Orland Police Department Cessna.
PEOPLE V. LEON, ERIC - Defendant was convicted of a misdemeanor violations of Penal Code section 273.6, Violating a Domestic Violence Restraining Order and Penal Code section 148, Resisting Arrest. Defendant was sentenced to 544 days jail. This case was prosecuted by DDA Coffey with assistance from Orland Police Sergeants Vlach and Johnson, and Officer Carmon.
PEOPLE v. STUDYVIN, LAWRENCE- Defendant was previously convicted of a felony violation of Penal Code section 666.5, Vehicle Theft with a Prior conviction of Vehicle Theft. Defendant was re-sentenced to 7 years and 4 months in prison. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from Orland Police Department Officers Mills and Ayres.

Chrome Fire Evacuations Lifted
Glenn County, CA – Evacuations have been lifted for the Chrome Fire in western Glenn County; including the community of Elk Creek. Residents may return to the area but are encouraged to remain prepared to evacuate should conditions change. Use caution in the area and watch for fire equipment entering and exiting the roadways. Non-residents are asked to avoid the area. The evacuation shelter at Veterans’ Memorial Hall in Willows is closed.
Chrome Fire Evacuations
Glenn County, CA - Advisory evacuations are in effect for the Chrome Fire in western Glenn County. Advisory evacuation warning area includes Stony Gorge east to the community of Elk Creek. This includes area of County Road 309 south to County Road 308 and east of Stony Gorge to 2 miles west of Stony Creek.
PEOPLE v. ROBERSON, KENNETH WAYNE - Defendant was convicted by a jury trial of a felony violation of Penal Code section 30305(a)(1), Felon in Possession of Ammunition with Special Allegations in violation of Penal Code section 667(c)&(e) and 1170.12 for 5 Prior Felony Convictions as Strike Priors. Defendant was sentenced to 6 years in state prison. This case was prosecuted by DDA Neumann with assistance from Willows Police Department Sergeant Stover.
