PEOPLE V. COX, ANTHONY- Defendant was convicted by a jury of a felony violation of Vehicle Code section 10851(a), Vehicle Theft, misdemeanor violations of Vehicle Code section 20002(a), Hit and Run Property Damage, Penal Code section 148(a)(1), Resist, Obstruct, Delay an Officer, and Health and Safety Code section 11377(a), Possession of Methamphetamine, and a prior strike conviction. Defendant was sentenced to 6 years in state prison. The case was prosecuted by DA Stewart with assistance from California Highway Patrol Officer Horwath, Glenn County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Gibbs, the employees of Willows Glass, and the employees of Glenn County Irrigation District.

PEOPLE v. DONAHUE, JUSTIN.- Defendant was convicted of a felony violation of Vehicle Code section 23152(b)/23550.5, Felony DUI. This is Defendant’s 6th DUI conviction and his blood alcohol content was .27%/.28%. Defendant was sentenced to 2 years in state prison. The case was prosecuted by DDA Harbarger with assistance from California Highway Patrol Officer Williams.

Defendant was also found in violation of mandatory supervision for the previous convictions of felony violations of Penal Code section 475(a), Possessing Forgery Paper, Penal Code section 459, Second Degree Burglary, and Penal Code section 496(a), Receiving Stolen Property. City of Willows FREE Community Clean-Up Day
The City of Willows, Glenn County, and Waste Management are sponsoring a clean-up day for the City of Willows.Waste Management will provide dumpsters on-site to hold waste materials to be hauled to the Glenn County Landfill.
This event is for Residents in the 95988 zip code only. Residents bringing materials are asked to have proof of residency to use this service. Examples would be a water bill or tax bill and a picture ID.
