Carry Concealed Weapons (CCW) SB2 UPDATE:

  • On December 20, 2023, a Federal preliminary injunction was issued blocking certain portions of SB 2 “sensitive place” locations. This injunction was further held up on January 6, 2024. The injunction only stops enforcement of “sensitive places” while the courts examine the constitutional arguments related to these areas. The remainder of SB 2 is in effect as of January 6, 2024.

  • As a CCW holder, it is your responsibility to educate yourself on California’s firearms laws. The information contained on this website is for your general knowledge and is a synopsis of the legislation – it is not meant to be a complete and thorough breakdown of SB 2.
